Dr Şeyda Özkan Gülzari’s expertise is environmental impact assessment of livestock farming. She is an animal scientist with over 10 years of experience in farming systems analysis in the context of alternative feeding practices and climate change. Her current research focuses on redesigning livestock systems that address the challenges of the capacity of land in relation to meeting the demands of future population growth; livestock intensification in the developing world; resource use efficiency; and greenhouse gas emissions associated with alternative management practices at farm and regional level.
